Starting October 19, 2026, the Fold 1 Plus is eligible for Velotric Extended Coverage after qualifying registration is approved: 3 years for electrical components, 3 years or 400 charge cycles for the battery—whichever comes first—and 10 years for frame structure. Mechanical parts and accessories remain covered for 1 year.

The Velotric Fold 1 Plus is a versatile folding electric bike designed to balance performance, comfort, and advanced features whether you’re commuting through city streets or storing it in tight spaces at home, work, or on the go. Powered by a 750 W rear hub motor with up to 1100 W peak output and 75 Nm of torque, the Fold 1 Plus reaches a top speed of up to 28 mph (45 km/h) and provides responsive torque for hills and stop-and-go riding. Its 48 V 13 Ah removable lithium battery supports a range of up to 68 miles (110 km) on a single charge, allowing you to travel farther with fewer charging stops.
Designed for comfort and control, the Fold 1 Plus features 20″ × 3.0″ puncture-resistant tires, a hydraulic suspension fork, and hydraulic disc brakes for stable handling and reliable stopping power on paved roads and light trails. What warranty coverage applies to the Fold 1 and Fold 1 Plus?
Both models include a base 2-year limited manufacturer warranty, subject to applicable component-specific terms and exclusions. Registration is not required for the base warranty; a dated proof of purchase is required.
Fold 1 Plus — Extended Coverage Available
Starting October 19, 2026, the Fold 1 Plus qualifies for Velotric Extended Coverage after eligible registration is approved:
• Electrical components: coverage extends to 3 years.
• Battery: coverage extends to 3 years or 400 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
• Frame structure: coverage extends from 5 to 10 years.
• Mechanical parts and accessories: coverage remains at 1 year.
Registration is normally free within 60 days of purchase. Eligible Fold 1 Plus bikes purchased in 2026 that have not yet been registered can be registered for free through December 31, 2026. Other qualifying customers may obtain extended coverage through the Protection Plan, subject to applicable deadlines and eligibility requirements.
Fold 1 — Original Warranty Applies
The original Fold 1 is not included in this extended coverage program. Its coverage remains subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms in effect at the original purchase date.
